LEE ANN WOMACK TO SING FOR LORETTA LYNN IN NEW YORK CITY
Lee Ann Womack will sing in honor of Loretta Lynn at the Songwriter's Hall of Fame Awards induction ceremony in New York City on June 19. Lynn's fellow inductees include Desmond Child, Albert Hammond, Alan Menken and John Sebastian. Blake Shelton will perform in honor of Hammond. Randy Goodrum will also present Anne Murray with the Howie Richmond Hitmaker Award to recognize her long career. Goodrum wrote one of Murray's most famous songs, "You Needed Me," as well as her No. 1 country hits, "Broken Hearted Me" and "Now and Forever (You and Me)."

Lynn's next gig is April 11 in Davenport, IA, and her current schedule has her
playing a smattering of theaters, casinos, festivals and fairs around the
country through late October. The itinerary includes a few shows at her own
Loretta's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN.

Dottie Rambo Performs With Loretta Lynn
Renfro Valley, KY - Loretta Lynn gave fans an extra special
treat when she surprised fans at the Renfro Valley
Entertainment complex with a surprise appearance of her
legendary friend, Dottie Rambo. As Rambo entered the stage,
the crowd immediately gave her a standing ovation. Loretta
shared with the audience that Dottie Rambo was the first
gospel singer she met when she came to Nashville and the
first friend in Gospel music she made.
